Presence Session Devotion: A Holy Exchange

by | Dec 18, 2015 | DEVOTIONS

Sister friends, I pray that as you pray this, you will have an encounter with your Heavenly Father. I pray the walls will come down and you will approach His throne of grace—free of shame.

Father, call me. Call me by name. Call me so that I may hear the name You have for me, and help me answer. Help me to come as I am.

You know those times I don’t? It’s because I think I need to fix myself first. I believe I need to be healed in order for You to use me. I try to get my life in order before I think You’ll have me.

But over and over, You simply say, “Come.” Help me come as I am, and accept Your gift for me. Help me accept Your incomprehensible grace, Your generous mercy, and Your steadfast love.

With all my heart and with my life as an offering, I come. Before You, Lord, I exchange all of who I am for all of who You are. In Jesus sweet name.

Go Deeper: Hebrews 4:16, Ephesians 3:12, Romans 1:6, Revelation 22:17.
