Pace Session Devotion: We Are Who God Says

by | Dec 4, 2015 | DEVOTIONS

Pointed prayer posts are my absolute favorite, because it’s when I invite you to pray, with me, honest prayers to our good, Good Father and our Ever-Present Help.

Lord, what’s the point unless You go with me? It’s You they need. Fill me with Your Spirit to do the work You’ve given me to do. I hold back because I don’t think I have what it takes. But it’s not by my strength, talents, gifts, clout, power, hustle, or influence. It’s done by Your Spirit.

Help me identify myself with how You identify me. Not by what I think others think of me. Not by my short comings and failures, but by who You say I am and by who You are making me to be.

Help me not cower in hiding, but help me rise as the leader You’ve called me to be. Help me walk in genuine humility and holy confidence. And because I won’t go unless I know You’re with me, when I go, when I give, when I make, when I write, when I speak, let it be You they get.

If it’s not You, what’s the point? You are the Difference-Maker in all our lives.

Go Deeper: Exodus 33:12-23, 2 Corinthians 5:17.

If they have, will you share in comments with us?
