GOD IS ENOUGH

by: Michele-Lyn Ault and Meredith Bernard

It’s easy to believe the lie you don’t have enough. It’s easy to live in this lie day in and day out, discontent with your lot in life, because your possessions are too few.

There is a wellspring of contentment, deeper than our desire for more, and more sufficient than our efforts to gain more, living in us — the ever-flowing River of Life. Contentment is a sense of knowing inwardly, we are enough because Christ is enough.

We cannot be self-sufficient alone, but we draw from the sufficiency of Christ in us. The truth is anything we lack can be filled by the All-Sufficient One. The sufficiency of Christ cannot be bought, it can only be accepted. It was bought and paid for with the blood of Christ, and it is available for everyone who will receive it.

May God be, and always be enough for us. {Ph. 4:10-14 MSG, Ph. 4:13 AMP, 1 Tim. 6:6}
