WHERE GOD IS

by: Michele-Lyn Ault

Will you let this prayer be the cry of your heart?

Lord, help me be content where You have me, while I cling to the hope and promise of where You are bringing me. When the sting of disappointment threatens to poison the hope I have, help me trust You and help me live by faith and not by sight.

Help me, even in the midst of the busyness of my days, to draw near to You. I know in drawing near to You, You draw near to me. Help me dwell in Your shelter, and rest in Your shadow. And when I have been away too long, woo me by Your Spirit, and make my ears hear Your tender, loving voice calling me to the place where You are. I will answer, and I will come.

Let it be so.
