MORE OF YOU

Lord, less of me and more of You. I now it’s a hard thing to ask. Not hard for You, but for me. And I am not always wiling to pay the price for it to be true. There’s still too much of me. My spirit is willing, but my flesh is weak. Don’t relent. Don’t give up on me. I know You won’t. I’m inviting You in and giving you space to just have Your way.

Help me say no to those things that draw me away from Your presence. Help me say no to those places I won’t find You, because I know You’re the difference-maker. I want to be where You are.

I don’t want my words and deeds to be void of Your power. No, rather I pray Your Spirit permeates every detail and activity of my life. Can I pray this? Is it too much to ask for? I pray when others encounter me, they encounter You, in Jesus sweet name.
