Each Pointed Life Session helps us focus on, develop, and grow in a specific area of life. The Position Session is about the posture of our heart in our place of leadership. As followers of Christ we are called to use our position as an opportunity to serve people, rather than as an opportunity to use people. We are called to lead, ultimately lead others to God. But our call to leadership is a place of service. The key verses for this Session are Matthew 20:27-28. “Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave—just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Jesus is our example of servant-leadership.
