HELP ME KNOW

In order to lead, I must know where I am going.

Lord, if You are asking me to lead my life, give me eyes to see the direction You want me to go. Help me not mistaken surrender for passivity and do nothing. Help me know when I’m no longer waiting on You, and You are now waiting on me. Help me not be afraid to make a mistake when I take steps forward, even when I am not completely sure.

If You do not delight in the one who shrinks back, then delight in me as I take forward leaps, trusting You will catch me if I am going to fall. If a double minded person is unstable in all their ways, then I am going to stop being wishy-washy, make a decision and go forward. And I trust You will provide me with wisdom and direction when I am missing the mark, because I choose to believe You rather than be afraid. {Matthew 15:14, Hebrews 10:38, James 1:8}
