PRACTICE RIGHTEOUSNESS

“The one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He (Jesus) is righteous.” 1 John 3:7

What does practicing righteousness actually mean for us?

The Amplified Bible says it like this, “He who practices righteousness is upright, conforming to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action, living a consistently conscientious life.”

Lord, help us to do this. Help us to shape our life for Your will. May Your will be the purpose we live for. Help it be what what fills our thoughts and mind. May it direct what actions we take. Give us an unchanging and undeviating desire to do what is right in Your eyes. In Jesus Name.
