Each Pointed Life Session helps us focus on, develop, and grow in a specific area of life. The Progression Session is about moving forward step by step. It is listening to the voice of God, beginning with the first obedient step, waiting on the promise God gave to us, and surrendering our will to His no matter what. The key verses for this session are Hebrews 11:8-11. “By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed by going out to a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he lived as an alien in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, fellow heirs of the same promise; for he was looking for the city which has foundations, whose architect and builder is God. By faith even Sarah herself received ability to conceive, even beyond the proper time of life, since she considered Him faithful who had promised.” Just like Abraham, the call of God to us requires hearing from Him, obeying His word, waiting on His promise, and surrendering it all over and over.
