OVERCOME

by: Ashlie Oestreich

Satan’s mission is to kill, steal, and destroy. But our enemy is often less concerned with keeping us out of heaven and more concerned about keeping us paralyzed in fear so that we do not bring others to heaven with us. He wants to immobilize us. Because what could be more dangerous to the powers of darkness than a woman who is not afraid to walk boldly in the bright-shining power of Jesus? No, Satan wants us to cower in fear, keep the light of Jesus hidden.

When we succumb to that gripping fear, two things happen:
1) We will not be free
2) We will not free others

Read: Galatians 5:1, Isaiah 61:1-3

You, daughters of freedom, were not meant to live suffocating in the chains of fear. The chains have been broken by the power of our resurrected Lord, and you are called to run free!

Lord, we refuse to be paralyzed, and by your Spirit we will MOVE. Reveal to us where we are trading faith for fear. We praise you for your perfect love that casts out fear and sets us free. Help us to now run in that freedom and proclaim liberty to a world dying in piles of chains. Amen.
