PROTECT YOUR HOPE

by: Michele-Lyn Ault

While we wait in the in-between of what we know God promised and seeing it happen in our lives, it is our hope the devil wants to steal most. And, he uses discouragement and disappointment to do so.

Protect your hope.

The enemy knows the one who has the Lord as their hope will never fail to see the power of God in their life.

We do not hope for what could have been, or what we already see. Hope reaches out into the future. Hope is a strong, confident, joyful expectation while you are waiting on God to do what He promised He would. Hope knows there is more, something greater than what is now.

“…waiting does not diminish us, any more than waiting diminishes a pregnant mother. We are enlarged in the waiting. We, of course, don’t see what is enlarging us. But the longer we wait, the larger we become, and the more joyful our expectancy.

Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along.”
