Our life is meant to be poured, and it is because of the love of God.

The closer you get the heart of God, the more you know His love. The more you know His love, the more you realize it was not meant to be kept to yourself. The closer you get to the heart of God the more you hear His heartbeat — every beat calling for the lost, the oppressed, the hungry, the captive. And closer you lean in to hear, the more you realize it is you He is calling to the lost, to the oppressed, to the hungry, to the captive.

A poured out life is not without promise. If you pour out that which you sustain your own life, then your light will rise in darkness. The Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your dry places and make your weak parts strong. You will be like a spring of water whose waters do not fail.

{There is so much more in Isaiah 58.}
