God does not change our purpose because we don’t think we can do it. Let us stop trying to get Him to.

“Most disobedience starts with a simple choice to stay put.” Priscilla Shirer

Noah had to get his hands on the dry wood before he ever saw a drop of rain. Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land without knowing where he was going. Moses had to stand before Pharaoh and be rejected, before he ever saw one plague—the wonders of God’s power. In Joshua, the priests stepped into the Jordan River even though its banks were overflowing.

Each. Took. A. Step. And God took them the distance.

They were in touch with their human inadequacy and inability, yet believed and obeyed God anyway. God took their faith, and made the impossible possible.
